So true, that sensor is still wonderful to this day and the camera can be bought for so little money.
Only thing I've noticed when comparing to other DSLRs of the time - it is HEAVY. 760g body only is a lot for a mid-range DSLR.

I have a 6 month old Corgi and we have a backseat cover for him which buckles into the seat buckle and is pretty secure. That way he can move around a bit and not feel too constrained.

I noticed mine had a lot of quality control issues too, sometimes it would take very sharp photos and other times half the shot was blurry for no reason.

Thank you! There's some weird way that the old CCD sensors capture hues that I've never been able to replicate. Of course I'd love to go back to using them but that 5 second write to card time is a bit hard to stomach now.

The original limiteds have a really terrible purple fringing problem since they were made for film cameras - my 77ltd was more purple than you could imagine when shooting with the bright sky was involved. Sure it's easy to remove, but it's annoying to need to. Not sure how bad the 43mm is in this regard though.

43mm to 50mm is quite a difference when you compare them. I remember having the Canon 40mm pancake and 50mm f/1.4 and I hated the focal length of the 50 as it was too constrained.
