I think the custom setting for WB when using flash has to be set to "unchanged." Default setting on K7 is AWB, K5 might be different.

Might be when the crippled K-mount came out. Don't care enough to look it up, though.

It could probably be cleaned, but fungus sometimes etches the lens coatings. You'll have to contact a repair shop and may have to send the lens in to get an estimate.

EBay won't let a seller hide behind a statement like that. If any item is not as described, you can return it with or without the seller's cooperation.

I'm not sure what it is, but I would not call it "clean." Reurning the lens would not be unjustified; it is not as described.

That's how it's supposed to be done on a K-mount camera. If the switch on the lens is set to A, the aperture will stay wide open all the time 'cause the camera has no mechanism to stop down an M42 lens.

Neither lens described is a power zoom. The zoom ring should turn smoothly with some resistance, but not much. It sounds as though they are already broken. "Untried" is eBay-speak for a lens that is faulty in some way that is not visible in a photograph.

Lester A Dine is still in business. They sell cameras for dental photography. I just looked them up and found this: Lester A. Dine Inc. a Pentax W80 for $800.

Rear curtain sync will only work in P-TTL, according to chart on page 65 of the flash manual. You could use wein digital slaves to trigger the studio flash. Breaking News Articles |

I tried it with 49mm filters and a hood and never noticed any vignetting, but I didn't try to test or measure for it.

This was about three years ago, so I don't have any record of it. It was similar to yours, but it had autofocus.

There was an AF version with Autofocus and 58mm filter threads. It was much smaller than the current version.
I got one on eBay but it was broken and I had to send it back.
