Spoke to CR Kennedy Melbourne branch today about returning my K3-11, though they have no stock for replacement they were very helpful and said they will notify me when stock becomes available for a changeover.
The tech I spoke to stated there is a fix for the problem of not turning off but he said they do not yet have the equipment, so I assume its a minor hardware replacement.
Not sure about the GPS error thats showing up and actually forgot to mention it to him as I have not even turned my GPS on.
Cheers

Good idea Bob
I have one on order and will be coming from the K5. How many user modes are on the K3II as with my K5 I have set up all my preferred settings outside of my usual default TAV mode setting in the 5 User modes.
Hope you are enjoying your new camera mate
cheers

Thanks for the video. You must be impressed with your results from this camera if you are selling your Nikon gear.

And have a trial version of photoshop on hand.
For me I just remain silent and thank god that my wife cannot tell the difference between my K-7 K-5 and K-30. I just need to ensure that two are never out of the bag at the same time.
The K-5IIs will slot into its roll without detection:)

I have had good experience when I used them... adjusted focus problems on K5 and tightened the barrel wobble on my FA31.
Both came back excellent
They took a while though... and no wonder as the guy chatted to me for around 30 mins on various pros and cons.

Update went smooth... AF seems more consistent rather than faster.

I rate each of the 3 limiteds the best lenses in their range of any lenses I have used. The FA77 is the least used of the three but it never ceases to amaze. Its just that I shoot more with the FA43 and FA31 as wide is my preferred focal length.

I have both the K-30 and K-5 and had FF issues with all lenses with the K-5. After I purchased the K-30 and found it flawless in this regard I sent the K-5 in for a service and correction.... now both cameras are spot on.

I recommend you consider looking at the 18-135 lens bundle.... I am impressed with this lens ...good value for money even though I like to shoot most of the time with primes this lens and the K-30 is a good combo.
