I have a newly purchased Pentax k-3, SMC PENTAX-A 645 1:3.5 150mm lens, and a Pentax Adapter K for 645 Lens
I had bookmarked the following site to help me set up things for the manual lens, but the settings are different on my camera: Shooting manual lenses on Pentax DSLRs « robertsdonovan.com

I love macro photography. I currently own a Canon SX40 HS, Canon speedlite 430EX II, and a Raynox 250. In spite of my camera knowledge being a bit beyond beginner, I was fortunate enough to get surprisingly good results with this combination. I am planning on purchasing a Pentax K-3. I'm very interested to see what I can do with the K-3's capabilities. I would very much appreciate help expanding my knowledge of macro photography. Right now I need help looking at lighting options.
