Reread my post # 23. When you turn dial those numbers (the one underlined) will change. and so will meter.

Page 94 in manual. The pic. on 95 is the top LCD but look in viewfinder and turn dial and number on right by hand will change. Put a manual lens on camera and set to A. Set camera to M mode. In the middle of display there are two numbers one is underlined that is speed press AV button and line moves to Aperture now buy changing either one the numbers by hand will change when at 0.0 all set.

On the right by the left of the hand there is numbers there. Put it in man. mode move camera around and they will change or hit green button and it will 0 that is perfect now turn dial and you will see it change +3.0 2.0 or -3.0 20. above 0 that is the meter.When at 0 you are good to go.

This is what helped me. David Busch's Pentax K200 Guide to Digital Slr Understanding Exposure Scott Kelby's Digital Photography Boxed Set
In that order. First one helps with camera setup.
Second one helps with understanding exposure and other thing that are important.
Third helps bring it all together.You get books 1 and 2.

There are three different versions of the Tamron Lens You want. You need a Tamron AF 70-300mm F/4-5.6 Di LD MACRO 1:2 I have a K200D and it works great.Paid 135.00 for it.

Go to Photographic Solutions web site.I think you need type 2 and Eclipse E2 for Tin Oxide Sensors.I have the K200 and that is what it has and uses. |

Well I sent it in to Pentax service center Westminster, CO.
Gone for two weeks I get it back piece of new foam missing just a nick and they said they cleaned camera. Spots on pic.Aperture 22 and 16 50mm lens pointed at sky.I don't see any dust on sensor.Mirror up mag. glass used to look at it so now I have to send it back. I'm going to call them I should not have to pay for shipping again.Thanks for letting me vent.

For K200 Where can I get the Foam the Mirror hits when it is raised up a piece came off in center and I took the rest off so no more fell inside. Still under warranty but I don't know if that is covered. Shipping is going to be more than the foam.
