K3 and FA*24mm @ 5.6 playing with two strobes
The FA*24 is new to me, I paid 100 USD a few days ago! well used without hood but in pretty good condition. A really rare piece of glass here in Argentina and the price... well... I can´t believe myself
The clock was my Grandma's still working like a charm with a sound that's sooooo nice... |

From May 2010 when Escuadrilha da Fumaça (from Brasil) visited Buenos Aires - Argentina and gave us an amazing show.
I remember this picture because I was panning the plane from the left and I did not see the moment they crossed through the viewfinder so I got a bit excited because "I got the exact moment!???" and yes! i did!
Ugly colors but backlight and bad photoshop skills... hehehe

Yeah! she had been in surgery before (something got loose inside due to a fall on the floor) but this time was terminal...
Once again, nothing to complain about! it's a great camera, even today with a lot of improvements in the area

This one was taken on the last day my K10D worked as the piece of art we all know.
A few weeks later my dad borrowed my K10D to go on vacations with my mom and after a couple of shots... No more K10D, "main circuit fried" (mirror goes crazy with anything you do)
Now she's a beautiful piece of art in my living room, full of memories
The plane... An Argentina Air Force Mirage M5 "Mara" during an AMAZING airshow where all Argentinian Mirages were saying good bye after several decades of service.
The Camera: My beloved K10D with a Sigma 170-500
It wasn't cropped, it was a low (Argentinian style) pass and even at 170mm couldn't get the whole Mirage |

For the K10D you can build your own remote cable, is really easy and inexpensive. I made mine with 1 push button for the focus, 1 for the shutter and 1 switch parallel to the shutter button so you can lock it in bulb mode
Google about it, I think is the same method for the old Cannon Xti

There's a way to lock the long exposures...
You have to put the speed dial in the area between the 1000 and the X there, when you push the shutter release it'll get locked...
I'll quote the 6x7 manual page 11 Quote: Time Exposure
By setting the shutter speed dial anywhere in the space
between X and 1/1000 sec., you can take Time
exposures. To close the shutter, turn the speed
dial to X or 1/1000.
Double exposures cannot be made with this camera |

Helo!!! I've been on vacations last week. This time I went to Peninsula Valdes at Chubut Province in Argentina... (I put the links to Wikipedia for mor info) It's a GREAT place, really beautiful.
If you ever want to come to Argentina, just let me know ;)

2. Lets go diving!!! ¡Vamos a bucear! by Andrés Martín / Tincho, on Flickr
3. Whale watching... a classic shot in this area Una descocada! by Andrés Martín / Tincho, on Flickr
4. No photos!!!! Fotos no! by Andrés Martín / Tincho, on Flickr
5. In Spanish this photo is called "vi una pelicula sobre la playa" which has a double meaning: a- I saw a movie ON the beach and b- I saw a movie ABOUT the beach Vi una película sobre la playa by Andrés Martín / Tincho, on Flickr
6. Hide and seek!!! Jugando a las escondidas by Andrés Martín / Tincho, on Flickr
7. I'm SO going to kiss you!!! Ayyy que te como a besos! by Andrés Martín / Tincho, on Flickr
This photo has a little story... I went for a walk and started to rain softly, I didn't care and kept walking... when I got to the beach the rain stopped and I found this... Se casa una vieja by Andrés Martín / Tincho, on Flickr
