i think k10d is a good choice as its has more shortcut button on the backside, which is easy to change the setting when you take photo.
If you want to taste something new, k20d, no doubt!

I think pentax 55-300 lens is better than its former brother 50-200, certainly the price is higher.
Based on the comparisons, focus function for 55-300 improved, I mean no longer "hesitatation", compared with 50-200
As for color,acutance and backround shade, we see 55-300 inherits the "pentax style".
I have bought 50-200 last month and had to well use it, haha.
