Dear Pentax
Please make mz dream come true and make a FF camera with a FF lens 20-60 F4 (or something comperable in that range) couse i'm really starting to look serious at eos 5d. I just need two lenses, first mentioned and 60-250 which i think covers FF. I'd like the body to be very basic but with new metering and safox IX+ with a nice viewfinder. Let's say it'l have smth like 5fps and be around 1000-1500$ brand new. That's what i really need and like to have.

Why do you complain about no #d Tracking, 3d tracking is just a marketing bullshit. It's a word for "we have a sophisticated af-c system". Moan about af-c when it'll get tested can you?
On the other hand i wonder when we will finally see the new sophisticated af tracking system by pentax, double cardslots and so on.. I know that i have been leaving with one slot ever since but it still would be nice.

I don't think that it'll have a huge impact on pentax sales if they won't show a ff camera in september. Many people just say couse they're dreamin 'baut it but they'll probably never go for smth costier then the kx. Who wanted to switch has switched already couse ff is not so costy enough. Mid 2011? if it'll be in shops then why not. Everything depends on specs, if they would show o low perfoming body even fully working and ready to ship at photokina nobody would go for it. My dream is it would be faster, maybe first quarter of 2011. Maybe shiping in march;) But what i really want is to show two new cameras: hi spec aps-c and lower spec-ed more like studio/landscape camera with ff maybe 3-4 fps and so on but let it have fair pricing so it'll have an impact on ff market.

I just wonder when people will stop dreaming of pentax becoming nikon or canon. Why the hell they should make another camera just like d700? that would be insane.. Ofcourse very good low light perfomence and good af is highlly recomended but they can't make a camera with similar specs, it'll kill them. Lets use same principals that led us to k7 and make a similar ff camera and that could be a real deal maker.
And my wish for double sd slot, 100% 1x viewfinder (och how great it would look with the magnifying eyecup..), gosh why canon has stole those ideas with 7d..

I wonder how would they look in sherpening 1 or 2 option. From what i see i think that maybe the lens dosen't match the resolution of the sensor. Anyhow i simply like those samples;)

as falconeye pointed an better aps-c camera won't be a game changer besides i don't think we would really want to see a Nikon d300 in pentax body becouse of its hipotetical price, at least for now. I think the next camera will be a game-keeper smth between k-x and k-7. The reason why so is the technology, to make smth above k7 they would have to do much R&D for that camera and its logical to me that k-5 should be released beacouse it'll use existing technology! Same was with the k-x combining new tech and older body. K7 last year made a lot of buzz for pentax, this year pentax will pressure the market with 645D. I think that FF will be the next camera after the hipothetical k-5 and maybe it'll be shown as mock-up to generate interest some time before but i don't think it'll happen. Pentax under hoya is a very mysterious company.. even more then before..

Refering to what you stated about market share
Pentax K-m 2,5
Pentax K-x 1,8
ANd think about tha k-x was distributed only in december as far as I remember.. thats a huge gain for pentax..

I'm a happy owner of a k7 and i think that the current lineup is ok. Don't make a k7 super becouse a lot of people will way it's not much of a improvement. Just make another generation of camera's as you want it.
What i want is what people often request here: lenses!!
I've tested the 16-50/2,8 but it wasen't enough for me. I'd like a zoom like 17-50/4 or even shallower in range like 17-45/4 but make it superior in quality ( mostlly sharpnnes and contrast ) or maybe a 17-60/4 to couple the 60-250.
What i'd like to see is new * primes 35mm, 20mm, 14mm but not bulky version but something small and portable. You've made that kind of lenses before.
Also please continue to instal in lenses both screw drive and SDM, becouse SDM ain't quite fast it would be perfect to let the user decide unless he want stealth or speed.
By the way thanks, k7 even surpases my needs.

Ok i asked about the size becouse i dont know if in a body of the k7 there will be place for duble prime II. Besides i own a k10 and pretty much like it;). Anyway the thing that i dream about is a totally waterproof camera with fixed focal lens ( something like sigma DP2). Those features are just for the camera to be more alike today standards.
I just thought about new function so..
Dear pentax
I would like to see a function that will allow to save all chosen options in one camera and aplly them to another. I mean that i have configured my e-dials, raw button, aperture ring setting, and so on. I'd like to install those options ( of course if posible ) on the next camera and beacouse of that not to spend couple o hours to make it function the way i like.

I love the concept of the k-x and i think only thing that has to be done is good marketing of this idea.
So my wishlist is:
- 12 mpx sensor
- double PRIME II engine ( for faster continous and better buffer )
- dual slot ( CF + SD )
- 6 to 7 fps
- Greatlly weather resistant
- with a body that size is about k10d.
- All the features of the K7
And thats what i would call a flagship model. Totally top notch features..
Second of my wishlist is something probably that would never come true.. i dream of a waterproof dslr with mounted something about the size of 21mm ltd fix focal lens.

Why no SR? you have SR i optio series so why not in such a body? ok it'll be probably less efective but still a unique feature;)

Hope it'll be so but if it will be small and light will have to say good bye to Shake reduction a steel chasis. Anyway hope it'll sell great so Pentax will ahve money for k1d;)

I'll be in Houston probablly on 5.08 and i don't live in US permament. Can anybody tell me where in Houston i can buy Pentax da 14mm/2,8 prime and ( i would be super greatfull) what would be the price? i already wrote e-mails to stores but with no effect.
