Whew, that takes a load off. Thanks! I was worried I might have a problem and have to play sample roulette.

I just received my copy of the Tamron 70-200 f2.8 from B&H and have been doing some test shots around the house. Optically it is fantastic. It is sharp at all focal length from wide open on and it doesn’t appear to exhibit any front or back focus issues. However, I noticed as I was removing it this evening that the aperture lever is at an angle. As far as I know normally the aperture lever is perfectly vertical and moves horizontally. The one on the 70-200 is at an angel and moves in kind of an arc. (See photo below) I did a side by side exposure comparison with my Tammy 28-75 from 2.8 all the way down to f32 and the exposure looks right on. Should I be worried about this?
Thanks,
Mark

PentaxForums.com Marketplace Listing Item for Sale
Pentax SMCP DA 70mm 1:2.4 Limited Asking Price $425 Shipped Shipping Destinations
U.S, U.K, Canada, Australia Item Description
I purchased this DA 70mm in March 2009 from Adorama and have just not really used this focal length much so I am selling it to fund a fast long zoom. The lens is in great shape and sharp as a tack from wide open on. It has seen little use and is clean and scratch free. It includes front and rear caps, hood, bag, original box manuals and serial card.
I haven't bought or sold through pentaxforums before, but I have a 100% rating on ebay. You can look up user 'mschneider'.

I just purchased this via the eBay listing. I have been thinking about this lens for a while and with the 30% cash back from Live.com this is too good of a deal to pass up. Thanks for making my day. ;)
