My K50 is now just over two years old and with 2876 clicks has given no trouble at all. I use it with the kit lens and a Tamron 70/300 macro.

You are right about the weather resistance. I chose the Pentax after trying it out at a local camera shop in preference to the Nikon 5200, because it felt right and comfortable in my hands. The only thing missing is an articulated monitor, with that it would be perfect. I got used to one on my Fujifiilm HS59exr.

Hello from hurley22. I have a K50 with the kit lens and also a Tamron 70-300. I live in Cornwall UK, where there is some lovely scenery, both coastal and rural.:)
