Lens:
Da*55
Fa*200 macro
Zeiss 85 ZK
Da*50-135
...
All on the A set.
I precise that it's nor a constant trouble.
We can take 4 or 5 shoots normally (at 1/250 and f/2.8 iso 200 for example)
and without changing anything, the meter cell goes crazy and goes at 1/8000 or smallest aperture...
:/

Same trouble at all iso's settings.
In green mode also, it goes at 1/8000 and smallest aperture.
You're right, it's like we are straight on the sun or big light...but it's not the case !
Tested with many lens, same problem...
Test in M mode, when i press the green button -> 1/8000 and smallest aperture...
I've reset the K7...same troubles...

Hi,
Got a problem with a K7:
I think i have a metering trouble:
In Av mode, whereas the light condition and the aperture : it always go at 1/8000
In Tv mode: always the small aperture of the lens...
In P mode: always 1/8000 and smallest aperure.
So my pictures are all DARK...
:(:(:(
any idea ?

ok for all that.
But you know, we are not professional, and the test was very difficult and long (we are on since early december...)
""clearly it is not correct to compare for example the 50-135 at F2.8 against an 85mm F1.4, ""
We just make this for one thing: to show how we can obtain different result with a fixed 85 in comparaison of a zoom... Learn french ;) (it's precised in the test)

Ton français est très bon
Your french is good (better than my english...)
No conclusion on the 50-135 in the second test cause the zoom was include in "bonus" for the test chart, CA's...and as you see, in the second part, we have a lot of picture à f/1.4 o f/2...and the zoom is...at f/2.8 But in my opinion, this 50-135 could be a good portrait performer. But is really to big for that and (the model says) it's agressive with the big harsh hood etc...

Hum; we try to make the same focus distance for all lenses; with k20d + K3 focusing screen.
But, the fail is human...

Thanks for Lazare ;)
Yep, i think Jup'9 is not the same sort of lens as the other; and the biotar 75 or a helios 40 too
Next week, the second part of the Test, with portrait and bokeh and conclusion.
(but i can say one think now, is that the Samyang gives a lot of things fot that price.
It's really a good affair, in my opinion.

Thanks guys ;)
Opticaly they are the same lenses.
Only changed the circular blades, the WR and the "limited" aluminium body (wich is very, very nice; looks like a long 77, about same feeling.
The focus ring is really pleasant.

Hi;
It was difficult to include more lenses cause 7 lens is too much too...:D
And i think the J-9 would be bitted by the other;
But you can found one comparison between Helios 40 and J-9 here ;) test_helios_jupiter |
