I was a little bit lost with the "-K, -M, -A, or -F" but understod that i should aim at F2,2 - 2,5 to have about the best sharpness to the whole picture and also that does have almost no vignetting and very very little CA, so this are "worst" on objectives below "F2,2", when the F is below F2,2 ? ---------- Post added 04-03-15 at 02:41 PM ----------
Okej so i should aim directly towards one of the prime lenses.. in one way i do "save-money" about 200 to 400USD if i jump over a cheaper lenses and go straight for the primes.
FA31mm f1.8 Ltd
DA*55mm f1.4
FA77mm f1.8 Ltd
.. i will take that for my consideration, thanx. ---------- Post added 04-03-15 at 02:44 PM ----------
Shall see the review page of lenses you posted. ---------- Post added 04-03-15 at 02:53 PM ----------
Thanx
One of many good tips i get from this pentax-forum, it has made my choice simpler when people speak about there experience with different lenses and in that way gives good examples on what to choose, in different senarios.
.. "Its sad that there aint a lens that works from 0-1000mm/F0,0" , would be so much simpler .. ;-) ---------- Post added 04-03-15 at 02:55 PM ----------
Yes, thats an good example to know witch length to choose, thanx.

My dilemma is... Pentax or Sigma or maybe even an Samyang objective, pictures i would like to take is star-pictures (space, with ground in same picture) and portraits, mostly portraits.
Is there any one-ring-to-rule-them-all, and then i mean that can handle low F and have good sharpness all over the picture. I understand that the question is complex to answer in one simple objective, but would be nice to hear what amateurs/proffesionals photographers can give me knowledge on what to buy.
I have looked at these candidates below and i think i will go on RP SMC-DA* 55/1,4 SDM, but! first i would love to hear what you out there would recommend.
( The prices below are translated from the an Swedish "price runner" site, and to USD ) - Ricoh-Pentax SMC-DA* 55/1,4 SDM (about 835USD)
- Ricoh-Pentax SMC-DA 35/2,4 AL (about 174USD)
- Ricoh-Pentax SMC-FA 31/1,8 AL Limited (about 1390USD)
OR..... - Sigma 35/1,4 DG HSM Art for Pentax (about 869USD)
- Sigma 18-35/1,8 DC HSM Art for Pentax (about 812USD
- Samyang MF 14/2,8 ED AS IF UMC för Pentax (about 405USD)
