On the K110D is there a way to change the camera to black and white before you take the picture so that it's being taken in black in white? I've searched and searched but have only found a way to change it after.
Thanks,
Amanda

My friend gave me Adobe Photoshop to try on a cd. When I put it into my computer, my computer just keeps trying to load it but it never actually shows up. And when i look in My Computer, it doesn't show up there either. My computer is Windows XP, which is what my friend said is what the cd is made for. Any help is appreciated.
Thank you,
Amanda

Is there a way to see what youre taking a picture of on the screen rather than through the viewfinder on the K110D and if so, how is that?

my friend mentioned somehting to me that sunded interesting. she was wondering if i could take a picture with my camera that takes the color out of some of the picture but not all of it. for example the people in the picture are in color but the background is in black and white. i was sure you have to do this after the picture is taken like in a photo editing program but i just wanted to make sure. if any of you know that would be appreciated.
thanks in advance,
Amanda

career in photography

i forgot to mention that im still in high school so i havent started any university/college yet. im trying to ask around so i can find out what i should take after high school. my cousin mentioned a degree offered here in New Brunswick called the Bachelor of Applied Arts (BAA) where i would do my majoring in photography. it sounded good to me but then my other cousin had gotten her bachelor in arts and majored in pottery i believe. i was considering this but she doesnt even have a steady job now she does work in a studio but its not enough to live off of, so she has to work also in a deli. i guess my dilemma is shouild i bother getitng a BAA if its not even going to get me a secure career you know? also im interested in doing fashion photography like working for a fashion magazine for example. but im thinking theres no way i would get anything in NB and most likely not Canada. i googled fashion photography and many of the people were photographers in New York. Do you know if that would be a good place or any where else instead? thank you for your feedback.

hello. i love photography and have been thinking for a while about making a living in it. I dont really want to do portrait photography but would if i had to. I havent graduated yet so i still have some time to think about it. i was wondering if any of you have careers in photography and if so what exactly do you do. also does anyone know of any schools that have good photography or related courses or classes that i could take or that any of you have taken to get your career started. my school just got a new course on photography that i'll be taking next year so i'll be able to see if im really good enough. any ideas or suggestions are appreciated. thank you!

P.S Sorry its kind of rambling.

unfortunately i am still running this old computer and i do have a burner. it took me 3 hours but i finally got some onto a cd using a easy cd creator program. i didnt get everything i wanted though because it kept freezing. im going to keep respectfully nagging my mother for an updated computer because until then i cant do anything to my pictures...crop, rotate, nothing. it just doesnt work. i guess my computer cant handle it.

i'm in high school, um i dont really have school successes right now and yes i am unemployed. my mother doesnt understand the need for a new computer right now. the way she sees it, as long as we can get on the internet, its fine. but i want the computer for my pictures and i can see now that the internet is ALL this computer can handle. so thats why i havent gotten a new computer yet but i'm in the process of trying to convince my mom. this computer is used by mainly me and once in a blue moon, my mom. others in this household have their laptop so they use that. thats about it. i was thinking of getting "Macromedia Fireworks" have any of you used that? I used it at school and enjoyed it. But i dont think i will bother now because chances are quite low that it will work on my computer. I think my computer is about 5 or 6 years old.and almost everytime we shut it down, it makes a loud continuous beeping noise and doesnt stop until i press and hold the power button. I'm guessing that doesnt mean anything good. theres also something on my computer called "salm" and i have to ctrl+alt+delete it everytime i go to surf the web or do anything or it wont work at all. i used to have a cheap digital camera and the photo editing program that came with it worked just fine. i'll rap it up for now. i think i answered all your questions. sorry its so long.
thanks for your help,
Amanda

I'm not sure how old it is i think about 5 or 6 years and for the memory, it says : 63.0MB of RAM and then it says system resources - 48% free. i'm not really sure what any of this means but im downloading the stuff you mentioned. as for clarence, there was no place in virtual memory that said change so i didnt know what to do for that.
