I still don't get that. The IQ of the K-70 is nearly as good as the KP, and still very close to the K-3 III. Considering that the cell phone market has all but wiped-out the entry-level DSLR market, I think the K-70 should have been the one to go - especially that it's been out longer, *and* is subject to the aperture block failures like the K-50 and K-30 before it.

Perhaps this is what I love most about the KP. It feels like a modern ME Super. Even with the battery grip on - way back when I got the M 80-200 I also got a generic auto winder, and the KP with the BG7 on feels more or less like the ME super with the auto winder on.
Combine this with absolutely insane low light capability compared with any DSLR I've ever used, and, well... I've had it for 3 months now, and... Attachment 539901 |

Find a way to make it happen, you will not regret it. This is literally my favorite camera ever. I mean, 22,000 clicks in 3 months...that's gotta count for something.

I'm 6'6" and the floor of the truck (a semi) is right about at my shoulders. I was in the truck about to get out when it fell. It was a six or seven foot drop, onto solid concrete.

Yup. Automakers around the world are cutting production for the same reason, among other industries.
