Check on Ebay. I purchased my
From Ebay. So far I have not had any issues with my lense.
Also pictures are crisp clear.
I liked it so much I bought a second copy. Auto focus was even better then my sigma.
Have it checked out by a local camera shop in your area. Then decide go from there.
Let us know what you decide on.

Will here is the jest of it all.
I have used sigma lenses with
Canon bodies. Seems Sigma and Tamron will discontinue making lenses for Pentax bodies.
According to Sigma and Tam on
Both companies decided not enough volume sales by Pentax owners. What ever you decided on make it quick. Soon Pentax owners are going to be left in the dark.
Including myself.
I too have owned Sigma lenses on my Canon. I did prefer the L lenses from Canon. May just convert back to Canon. Not enough support for PENTAX owners.
Just when I was getting the hang of my K5iis.

I took have problems with my Pentax k5s. I am still getting the hang of it
I had camera on grid mode and pressed the view finder mode. It was making heavy noise?
Any idea any one. It takes pictures fine. However in grid mode sounds like a truck.
Best way to describe it.
I just had it checked out ...

All okay now. Camera all okay. May have been from harsh cleaning. No signs of camera being dropped or damaged. So far very pleased with Pentax. Just thinking about the K3 or full frame now...
Will add pictures soon.

Hi Pentax Members,
I have been a long time Canon Eos User. I purchased my first Pentax K5 IIS. On Ebay about a week ago. I need some help finding the shutter count on this camera body. I also purchased a 50-200 Pentax Lense. I also noticed its a complicated system more so then my Canon EOS .
Can any one help me with the shutter count? I guess it will take some time to understand all the functions.
