Hi, I've had my K-S2 for nearly 3 years and about 26K shutter count. No issues at all yet. Its a great camera and to be honest if it gives me another year of service I'll be pleased. It will be due for an upgrade by then. From what I've read and watched the K70 seems to be better value than the KP.

The 55-300mm is surprisingly good. Its probably because we never have high expectations of a 'consumer' lens? It's very robust and handle the wet weather wondefully. great shots mate!

I bought my K-S2 about 18 months ago. Over 13,500 shots, lots of travel and bumps and no issue so far.

Hi, I assume you don't mean the last image viewed not the last image taken? If so I don't think there is a way to customise the camera to go to the last image view, it will default to the last image taken....

I have a whole bunch of manual lenses but yet to try them....I'm off now to give them a go. I agree, it is a classic and I don't think there will ever something like them again. I'm getting a bit of a sluggish whine when it tries to focus at times, is that normal?

I've absolutely hammered mine it take the beating. I love it, does everything I need it to do and paired with better glass give the flagships a good run for the money....enjoy it!

I just got a 2nd hand K-01 and its so quirky and brilliant! I mostly use the 21mm limited but tried it with the plastic retractable kit lens I got with my K-S2 and it awesome too! Anyone else tried it? It struggles with my 100mm macro and my 55mm* f1.4, keeps hunting....but I didn't really buy it for portraits or macro...

This gets my humble vote. I love the idea of serenity in a public place, regardless of the intimate moment in the bokeh. Serenty is a state of mind that can be reached anywhere. Cheers Freddie

The 18-50mm is quite disappointing. I've hardly used it....but the body with any other lens is fantastic!

Great to read these posts. I'm fascinated by the power of product placement and marketing. They seem to steer most people's opinions of camera choice and suitability. I really don't think a pro would need more than a K-3 or a K-5ii for that matter. The skill of the photographer to compose and get the best from the light is hard to sell on a web product comparison or review....as with most things, you can't buy talent, experience and hard work....and of course passion!
