I currently use the 16-50. I have been wanting to make a new lens purchase but have been very undecisive with a decision. I will be buying some studio equipment for portrait and product shots and what not. So I guess my question is should I focus more money on the studio equipment or a new lens?? Is the 16-50 a lens that can be used in the studio?? Thanks, Michael

I have a question not on the subject though?? I'm looking to add the DA* 50-135 to my bag. Has anyone had any issues with the 50-135 and the lack of a tripod collar? Seems like a lot weight to put on the lens mount when using a monopod or tripod??

I'm considering the purchase of the DA* 50-135. My biggest concern is the it dosent have a tripod collar. Has anyone had any issues with this lens when mounted on a tripod. I would think that some stress on the lens mount might occur over time leading to some costly repairs??
