My vote for Salomon shoes too! I have had Puntera Low GTX model for two years now. It's not even a boot but trail shoe, and they are great! Withstand lot of rain, mud and even some snow! Very comfortable even on very hard terain. Boots can be only better :)
P.S.
I also used them for some running, hiking, basketball... :D

I think that sharpness is more due to superb optical quality of DA 35/2.8 Macro :)
Such sharpness wide open... wow
But anyway, K5 looks like wonderful piece of camera (regarding all other photos I saw from it), can't wait to get it myself :)

Why don't you buy Canon 7D?! It's great camera and weather sealed; Canon claims the same degree of resistance as EOS 1N model, which was at the top of EOS line at the time it was produced... And about optics... well, they are mostly primes, because at any other type of lens Pentax is not SO MUCH better than other manufacturers...

Atheist. I was born and raised as Christian, until I started to read and study a bit more about religions. That's when I realised that so many things in it just doesn't make any sense :)

I have K10D and K100D Super. Skipped K20D and K-7 due to not being so much better than K10D in real life. K-5 could finally be MUCH better in two of my main complains: AF speed/accuracy in low light and high ISO. Altough, K100D Super is magnificent up to ISO 3200 (ISO 1600 is great), but it's such slow camera...

I have two DA 18-55. First one I got with my K10D, and second one bought second hand for very good price. Why? Because back than I had only kit 18-55 and 55-200 but also wanted to use my camere whenever possible. That included rain and snow, near the sea wtc. So I got the other 18-55 for such conditions, so I don't have to worry if I'm going to damage the lens. Te best thing is that that one was actually sharper than mine so they "switched places" :D
Also have FA 50/1.4 which I boguth and Super Takumar 50/1.4 which I got for birthday (with Honeywell Spotmatic as back cap :D). FA is much more used because off auto focus, but I use Tak when I don't need AF because it's sharper wide open.

Not if you have T9 on your mobile phone. Every new phone has it, at least in Europe... And even on minor languages like Croatian is. More than that, it's capable of learning words so you don't have to type them all over again if they're not in the memory already.

I heard a lot good thing about Mac. And first time I had an opportunitiy to use it - fail!
It was one of MacBooks, and it had to be connected on just an ordinary LCD projector. Ok, plug the prjector on DVI output . nothing. Press one of those buttons on keyboard, voila, projector gets the picture. But Mac screen goes blank?! Press again, projector loses the picture. Go to options, try to switch it manually - again, no picture at the same time. After many tries of everything, only thing that worked was turning off Mac, and repluging the projector shen system starts to boot. It happened with two of them. Don't know which Os X was on them. Third one couldn't give 16:9 on screen and 4:3 on projector, only the same on both.
Last week, 3 Macs to connect on eduroam network here were I work, everything done step-by-step like the manual says (because there must be some encryption set up, it's not just "find network -> connect -> surf the internet"), but no, it connected when Mac desided it's the time to establih the connection! And what's even more weird, on two of them it established the connection while I was entering the password for it?!
Of course, that doesn't mean that they're all the same - on the contrary, many of them worked flawlessly. But that's what I expected from ALL of them, after hearing so much praise about Macs. And especially when it's about such simple task as connecting LCD projector, or establishing Wi-fi connection, in spite of those encryptions, it should be like any other ;)
So for that, it fails...
And what I also think is that Mac is much more appropriate for light users, who just wants everything to work, no mather how many programs are there installed, how many windows opened, and with less as possible of their interference with any settings. I, as a power user, are much more familiar with how things work and I can set up anything how I like, and get the most out of system. Probably that's why Windows 98 were the last Windows I had headache with :)) Ok, never tried ME, I had Win 2000 then, but you know what I mean ;)

K 30/2.8?
I found it has great rates in Lens Review section. Also rare, produced only for few years, unusual focal distance...

Oh guys, please... Thom is just making a bunch of predictions which ANYONE could say. Nikon is about to make succesor of D2 which could be full frame?? Nikon could some lower class full frame to compete with Canon's 5D*?? NO SHIT!!! Photo communitiy is talking about that for years! Since Nikon and Canon are the biggest players on market, predicting their next move is quite easy, especially if they are mostly competing with each other!
Just a bunch of bullshit from him, nothing more...

Here in Croatia we don't have dedicated Pentax forum, but we do have the most written in thread on some croatian photo forums! :)
Yes, even more than Canon or Nikon threads, even tough more people are having Canikons than Pentax
As one croatian song says: we are less, but we are many

I just bought one two days ago for 50$! There was a photo fair here in Croatia, so I found it fo about 63$ (50€). I bought Hoya 49 mm polarizer from same man and asked if I could get the lens for atleast 50$ (40€). He said Ok and I got it, altoguh I didn't know about its reputation. It has some small damage on filter thread, but filter can be mounted with only some resistance. When I got home I noticed that there are also some minor, and really small marks on front elements, but they don't seems to affect picture at all. But I still have to make some pics first 'cause I didn't have some time in last two days :)

Omg...
What you give us is just a detail by which you can realize which picture is taken with which camera! But can you see the difference at first sight? NO! The point is that in this case you could easily mix pics of same shooting taken with D700 with those taken with K20D, and anyone would hardly see any difference ;)
Or go and check this :) Kidding
There are certain differences in all of cameras in the market, but technology is going so far that on smaller print there's no difference between 500$ and 35,000$ cameras. But what's the point of such comparasions except showing technology development? There are reasons why one costs so much over another. As there are reasons why someone would buy FF camera over APS-C one. But it's sad when so much people ar going crazy about FF cameras while not being able to actually give some good argument for their switch to FF from APS-C. Why would anyone buy FF camera for shooting in dark scenes once out of 10 shootings? I don't see any other reason than hype, or maybe wanting to spend some extra money on something, so let it be some uber cool bad ass camera ;)

Let's get serious: processing of RAW versus jpeg is like making pizza from scratch with flour and water versus puting frozen one into microwave ;)
RAW file consists ALL of data that sensor captured. Well, almost all. If it was ALL, you should be able to fine tweak even the most highlighted areas of picture, because at some moment of exposure they were exposed only for part of a second, ie. 1/1000 or 1/10000 or less. But it's almost impossible to implement all that, so, never mind :D
Anyway, with RAW files you get some extra head room in shadows and highlights area of image, becaue sensor captures more than it's enough for proper exposure on some shutter speed and aperture value. So you can save some parts that looks clipped on screen, but RAW editor easily udnerexposes them to get details back. With jpeg that's almost impossile because all of data in highlight area are gone.
Also, WB is possible in every combination, since with RAW you get all of data (this time really ALL :)) from WB sensor, so you can adjust it as you like. Color managment is also much better and easier in RAW, as it is noise reduction. Jpeg does all of that automatically, and then it compresses final image to get smaller size with great reduction of data on image.
I hope you can understand all I'm saying, cause my english sometimes goes bad when I try to explain some technical things :D
>Wulifou: you just can't compare computer screen and it's precision, clarity, sharpness, etc. with 2,5 or 2,7" LCD on K10/20D ;)
On them, even lightlly blured taken with ISO 800 looks sharp and clean, while on even now obsolete 15" CRT you can clearly see how noisy and unsharp the picture is. Same goes for color reproduction and details. So cameras display can only be used as some guide, but definitelly not as some serious showcase of tweaks you made in camera.
