I think this one truly defines filling the frame and it doesn't have too much clutter. I choose it.

I just joined forum last week and find myself scrolling through the photos every day when I get home from work. It's kind of relaxing after a long day! All of them are so awesome and I'd like to comment on all but I find myself coming back to yours since you posted it. All I can say is beautiful!! Colors are spectacular.

Thats a good shot! I used to compete also and was able to take part in the International Rodeo in Kansas City Kansas. This event is called the Hurt Man Rescue and is normally a timed event to get him to the ground. Unfortunately my company no longer has its rodeo due to expenses. I miss competing!

It's a great but very demanding career. I had 32 years in field and now I'm able to pass some of that knowledge on as a trainer. I should be able to get some nice lineman photos in the future. ---------- Post added 04-20-15 at 03:33 PM ----------

Thanks, The poles are only 40' poles in that bay so they weren't too high. I also cropped it to bring it in a little closer. I was happily surprised at the clarity after doing so.

Took my camera to work to try it out. I'm an instructor for my power company and these are some of my students learning it old school! LOL

Hi all,
I just wanted to introduce myself here. I'm new to photography so I'll be looking for a lot of advice which is how I found this forum. I purchased the Pentax K50 because I will be using it in some nasty weather from time to time. I've read a lot of reviews before buying it and think I've made the right choice. It will be fun trying to figure out what I can do with all of the settings but for now I'm just using auto settings. This is my first DSLR (real camera) so please be patient with my dumb sounding questions. I really don't want to get frustrated with it and put it in the closet when I can't figure things out.
Thanks for any help I receive!!
Tim
