All I have for you is respect and being thankful for your help, it is true I was looking for a quick solution but I was also looking for other books on the subject if the quick solution was out of the window so that I can pursue this matter further. Your time is valuable to me too and to call it a game, that was uncalled for.
As for an example, that will have to wait for this or another topic in the future when I have gained enough experience and to present my genuine request for help with clear intent and a perfect example of what I am trying to achieve then.
Misunderstandings can happen in life and sometimes there is no way around them! Again your help is highly appreciated!

Thanks for your help guys, I want to achieve a vivid and nicely illuminated shoot that any one who looks at it will be unable to tell that a flash was used just like the photos in magazines or at least get rid of shadows, I got a flash diffuser but it didn't do any improvement, next I am planning to get cto gel and a flash stand with an umbrella to experiment further.
Lighting for digital photography by Syl Arena, is it any good?
There must be a way to achieve this so I will not give up until I have tried everything.
Writing in English is not my forte but I hope what I wrote was clear enough and thanks again guys!

Hi there,
I tried very hard to take advantage of my expensive AF360FGZ II flash, yes I did read the Pentax flash guide and other books as well but nothing worked.
I need to photograph a subject indoors under tungsten light with the flash and that is all, my camera is K3.
Is there a simple approach to achieve this or do you recommend certain equipment and books?
Thanks!

I have K3 and all the limited prime lenses except for 35mm macro and the zoom limited, I have also the 100mm macro lens. To tell you the truth the camera and lenses are all beautiful and well made, after using them for a long time I found myself using the 40mm limited and 100mm macro more than the other lenses.
One thing I was disappointed in is out the camera jpegs, they look terrible and with some lenses like 70mm limited there is a tendency to overexpose the image. Now I am trying my best to learn lightroom and editing raw images.
I hope you get you camera soon and enjoy it!

This is good, having few lenses makes life simpler. How about FA 100 macro, I really like this lens a lot.

A song I listened to many times and years ago is Mr. Jones by Counting Crows. I am listening to it constantly for days now, I don't know why...

Hi, I never cleaned my sensor before and just want to ask if it is safe to use a 4 year old Eclipse cleaning fluid on my K3 sensor? Sorry I can't get a new one but I am open to any suggestion for a safe and effective sensor cleaning.
I have the new Sensor Swabs type 2, Pentax sticky thing is overpriced but is it worth $40?

I googled for a while and found about light tents and reflectors and they sound fantastic but sadly they are not practical.
I searched Sto-Fen website but couldn't find anything for my flash, so what should I get? Soft box, reflect card etc....
Yesterday I saw a video for a guy on YouTube using what I think is a soft box and taking very sharp photos of insects.
I tried all the modes and positions with my flash but it seems something is missing.

Dear pentaxians,
I know that using flash is very complicated thing for a simple person like me, all I want to do is take a nice photos of my watches. I tried the flash with all the possible angles and all I got was bad results. Perhaps I need to buy additional equipment but I don't know where to start and what to buy. I need a simple solution and with try and error hopefully I'll get a good photo.
Condition: handheld, indoors and under tungsten light.
Equipment: Pentax K3 + SMC Pentax-D FA 100m F2.8 Macro WR + Pentax AF360FGZ II.
Thanks for your help!

Hello,
I am a new to photography and just myself a tripod. I am trying to get sharp images and as I understand the mirror is raised in both modes when I first press the shutter button but in self-timer and remote the exposure is not locked and can change when the shutter releases and for that I need to cover the viewfinder or use the AE lock function, my question is which mode will yield the best results, I like self-timer but I don't like locking the exposure each time I take a photo.
Thank you for your help!

I hope those images can help! Is using the flash really that technical and complicated? even without the flash the images are somewhat acceptable. By the way I used Av mode. should I get CTO gels for the flash or is there something I forgot to do? I tried to bounce but the ceiling was high, it didn't work.
Thank you for your help

Hello,
I just got the AF360FGZ II for my K-3 and I am getting bad results indoors under tungsten lighting using P-TTL, what am I doing wrong? The results with the pop up flash weren't this bad.
Thank you for your help
