I'm more of a 'reader' than a 'poster' but I thought I'd share a few photo's I took at a Historic Race meeting at Phillip Island, Victoria, Australia in March this year. It's taken me this long have the time to sort through them fully :o All photos were taken with a K3 and DA* 60-250
First photo is of ERA R10B from 1936 (1/500sec F10 ISO 400)
Second photo is of a 1985 F1 GP Ferrari (1/640sec F10 ISO 320)
Third photo is of a 1965 Ford Mustang, with a 1970 Ford Falcon XY GT in pursuit (1/500sec F10 ISO 320)

G'day Everyone,
I thought, for my first post on the Forums, I'd share some of my recent photo's from a Historic Race meeting I attended last weekend down here in Sydney, Australia.
I've been using Pentax camera's for a few years now and I've recently been trying more than just 'point and click' type photography. I'm slowly getting the hang of how to get the best out of my cameras and lenses and the photo's below are some of my better efforts over the weekend.
I hope you enjoy them :)
1974 Lola T332 Formula 5000, taken with K3, Sigma 18-200 Lens. 1/320sec, f/9, 320 ISO
1990 Ford Sierra Cosworth RS500 Group A, taken with K3, Pentax DA* 300 Lens. 1/250sec, f/6.3, 160 ISO
1964 Holden EH, taken with K-50, Sigma 18-200 Lens. 1/100sec, f/5.6, 400 ISO
Even the local wildlife came to watch the racing! Taken with K-50, Sigma 18-200 Lens. 1/160sec, f/8, 500 ISO
All comments and suggestions on how to improve are welcomed
