Proof is in the pictures. I have friends who swore Nikon was the only way to get good pictures. After comparing mine to theirs, they have become much more interested in my Pentax. A good picture is a good picture, and if you can what camera took it, you did it wrong.

Dan

I have my K-3 set to continuous focus on the back button and then continuous shots on the shutter. I can shoot kids at a party and most are in focus. I just hold the AF button down while shooting.

+1 to the Photomatix advice (I've never tried HDRMerge, so can't comment on that one). The better software can eliminate "ghosting" based on your selection, or by using one image as the "master". Alignment is also typically much better.
It is difficult to tell whether your image is actually blurry or simply lacking in contrast.

Dan

Two from Acadia National Park. I think the 15mm spent most of my time there on camera.

My copy is pretty much like yours. Not sure that any other copy would be any different. Once you are aware of it, you can learn to use composition to avoid the worst of it, or crop it if you feel the need. I leave it alone and no one has ever complained :)

Yes, try one. I think it will sell itself.

No problems here, but I connect the camera to my PC directly. I don't use a card reader.

Very nice, rich colors, and the mist and sunlight are quite nice. The only suggestion I would make is regarding composition. While the light and colors are beautiful, there isn't enough of interest in the image to really make capture someones attention. Remember that we weren't there. I would suggest trying to shoot lower to the ground to get a different angle on the scene.
All the best,
Dan

I upgraded from the K-r to the K-3 and I absolutely love shooting with it. Double the resolution, great low-light performance, quick autofocus, and dual edials (that actually work).
