It is a really good lens, and worth the price of a new one. Speaking of AF, normally its AF performance is fast, silent, and sure. Above average among Pentax lenses.

If I'd buy a lens with an inbuilt motor, I would ONLY buy it new!
Also the DC-motor does fail much more rarely than the bloody SDM-Pentax-motor it can fail.
So does the socalled SDM-motor of the Tamron made 18-270! I know a person which had one and after a few years the motor zoomed very very slow.

Nice! I prefer the TLR for 6x6. I also have the Agfa Billy record II, which I use for color 6x9 and a Franka Rolfix II that I use for B&W.
I will likely use this Zenobia for color mostly, I have a roll of Ektar 100 in it right now, but I might switch to Fuji 100 at some point. I hear the Fuji greens are better. I need to test that and see what I like.
Here is a unintentional double exposure with flash, last shot on first roll. 2015-08-19-0012b by 45 Mike Anderson, on Flickr

Nice find and a great deal.
Last week I was talking to a friend that I only talk to a few times a year. He said he wanted a newer Pentax to replace his aging ME. So I picked up this SF1 and 28-80 for $40 at KEH. I told him I wanna try it out for a month or two and sell it to him for $30. He agreed. So here's my new "temporary" Pentax. It's really nice. The only thing I don't like is the longest shutter speed you can select in manual mode is 1 sec. |

This KX belonged to my fiancee's dad. He bought it in '76 when they were living in England and kept it until he died in 2008. I didn't realize how dirty it was until I looked at the pics. |

A new addition to the family! (The MZ-3, not the 43mm) :)
I shot with it all last night at an event and am instantly a loving fan of this body. |

I understand you like to take pics of cars, here there are two taken with this lens:
One at 35 mm the other at 210mm, I don't think I approached the target between the two shots.

Just picked this one up. Seems fully functional, with original case. A very complicated leaf shutter reflex which is expensive to overhaul. Nice for my Retina collection, but I prefer the simplicity of the range or view finder versions for reliable use..

Hahaha the grip is getting stronger ....... soon you will be buying a desk purposely designed for processing and storing the gear ..... then a display cabinet ........ oh and all the pelican cases too ......
I would share my symptoms in a pic but the wide angle I have cannot go beyond 180 degrees ;)
Maybe I need a theta? theres an idea ......

round two was today. i tried to slow the shutter even more for some of the shots. VERY VERY few keepers when shooting at 1/80. i liked this one the best, even though the bike isn't super sharp, i like how the background looked and the little glint of sun off the tail section.
what do you think? |

Remember they guy that cold supposedly bend forks and spoons with his mind? I never saw him do any like that though! Neat shot!
FS...#1 and #7 are stunningly beautiful...certainly two of your finest shots among many. I'd sure like to have a large #7 to print and hang for my Mom...it would go perfectly in one of her bedrooms.
Not much from me today...I was so busy....but I did get a shot of Newbie squirrel FS...and he is really growing fast! He looks a lot like Otis..imagine that!
