The 08 is in excellent condition. I inspected it closely again. The glass is clean and there are no blemishes on the lens body.
And yes, it is still available.

The Q7 body is very clean and has no blemishes. The 06 lens is also in excellent condition with one small scratch on the side of the body that initially looks like a small hair is on the body plastic. The 02 is in very good condition but it has a few blemishes on the focusing/zoom rings.
I will try to take close-up pictures later today and post them.

After buying in to multiple mirrorless systems, I have decided to "standardize" on Micro Four Thirds and sell of my other gear.
I have really enjoyed all of my Q's, but I picked up a Lumix GM5 which is about the same size as the Q7 and can use my m4/3 lenses.

* Pentax Q 01 Prime (SOLD): $125 shipped in U.S. No packaging included. I lost the original lens cap but a generic cap is included. Also includes a 3rd party hood as well as four extra pinch lens covers that are easier to use than the screw on cover.
* Pentax Q 06 15-45mm: $155 shipped in U.S. Includes packaging and 3rd party hood.
* Pentax Q7 & 02 Lens (SOLD): $190 shipped in U.S. Includes box and all accessories. Also includes 3rd party hood for 02 lens, 2 3rd party batteries, and a wall mount charger.
* Pentax Q 03 Fisheye (SOLD): $70 shipped in U.S. Includes packaging.
* Pentax Q 08 Ultra-Wide (SOLD): $380 shipped in U.S. Includes packaging and 3rd party hood.

I have had really good experience with Wasabi brand batteries. I don't have them for my Q7, but for a few of my other cameras. I'm at the point where those are now my default purchase.

Steve, I have the FlashQ and it works on my Q7. Do you have the Flash set to "off" in the menu and flash speed slow enough (slower than flash-sync speed)?

I'm no insider, but my understanding (based mostly on interviews with Pentax execs) is that the Q mount sells well in Asia and Pentax is committed to it. They plan on releasing a new Q body later this year.
Hopefully that commitment continues beyond this year.
