Hi Minahasa, I had both, the K20D is better than the K7, the K7 will hold up to ISO 800, the K20D up to ISO 1600, with flash they are both the same, color wise the K7 is better. The speed and the viewfinder and the LCD screen is much better, it is also a little bit lighter and easier to handle. I still have the K7 as a back-up, I broke my 2 K20D, I do miss sometimes the manly body but wouldn't trade back for my K5. why don't you buy a K5 instead?

Hi all,
I have the same problem with the same equipment but even following the above instructions it doesn't work. The spring loaded switch is not stuck and I tried changing the internal programming of the flash to no avail. Any other clues or ideas. All my AA batteries works with other flashes with no issues. As to the C cells in the power pack, I tested them with a battery meter, not the cheap one but one that measures the milliamps. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi all,
new to this posting but I think with all the time I spend outside taking pictures I needed to check my counters.
K100D Super, july 2008 to october 2008; 15919
K20D, novenber 2008 to march 2009 (dropped and broke); 19405
K20D, april 2009 to end of july 2010 (again another dropping accident);74570
K7, august 2010 to end of january (still have the unit); 71671
K5 after one week; 890 (two days of shooting butterflies)
So I hope I didn't scare anyone!
Thanks to everyone who provided infos on how to get the infos out of the PhotoMe software, great find!

At some point in his quest for food, he looked more intrigue by his reflection then the sudden urge to feed himself.

Well need good hands, brace the body well against your face and hold the lens part in the V position and take a deep breath. It doesn't work all the time but those shots I was sitting on passerel like an Indian, so it was much easier. Most of the time I do use my tripod. All the following were shots on a tripod. Except for the Hawk, braced against a rail.

Yes I do, and really like, no love it. Clear, sharp, focus quite fast but when using the converter it is sometimes tricky in less than perfect light. Weight is not a problem. Hope you could take advantage of it because I have seen a few picture takers using it, so if you can afford it, go for it!:)
