Hey guys,
I'm just your average amateur enthusiast :)
I love photographing landscapes, with the occasional social shots.
I was a Canon shooter about 10 years ago, but sold it all when funds ran low.
Then, recently, I caught the bug after borrowing my brother's D800 for a few days in NYC.
I then took a friend's Nikon D7100 on an Iceland trip, and another friend's Sony a7ii on a California trip.
The D7100 I just couldn't get used to - I'm not sure what it was; more of a "feel" kinda thing. The a7ii, I couldn't get used to the EVF, readouts, and awful battery life (and it felt fragile, for some reason).
But, I've been reading about the K-3 for a little while, and it seems like the best value and feature-rich APS-C camera on the market, bar none. And I finally got the chance to play with a K-3 in person a week ago.
Ergonomically, it just felt *right*, and to top it off, I really dig the sense of comradery on this forum.
Anywho, look forward to purchasing my first Pentax, and sharing photos in the weeks to come!
