Hi everyone
Currently I have:
Pentax istD*
Stock Pentax Lens (55 - 80 i think)
Quantaray brand Lens (100 - 300)
Quantaray Flash - the cheap one that use a bottom adapter to work with multiple camera type.
I am now looking to move up, but I have been out of the market for so long since the istD* day that I don't know what to get.
What would be the next logical step up? Is the Kx the new beginner camera?

Hi everyone
I have a Pentax Ist DL and i don't have my pentax cd any more.
Where can i find the software? Is it something i can buy?
Also my second question is that, i read about using a microphone / mini cord as a remote for shooting, mainly night sky shooting. Is there any remote that would allow me to shoot normally? i.e. as if i am pushing the shutter button on the camera instead of a shutter release mode where the shutter remain open as long as i have the wire inside the microphone contacting each other?

hi everyone
I recently updated the firmware to version 1.03 for my *istDL. Is the remote assitance software available for this specific model? I try to use the software for the *istD but that one doesn't work too well. It try to save all images into raw mode and jumble up all the pictures.
My second question is what is the Pentax Photo Browser and how can i get it? I can only find the update online, am i suppose to purchase the software separately?
