Cracked my viewfinder years ago....camera still going strong. Now my TTL info doesn't work and now diopeter.....is this an easy fix if I order the parts? K10D.

Yea.....we gave Lance Burkman to the Yankees, and Roy Oswalt to the Phillies.....they both wanted out of Houston for the chance to get a pennent....and look at em now! I wish the best for them both....but there can be only 1........

Back in Ancient times....Romans used to watch Gladiators fight to the death. In that video....the stadium was packed. Football here in America gets more ratings on TV than Baseball....our national past time. Are you all seeing were I am going with this? Why Pro wrestling is so popular? MMA is starting to eclispe boxing?

Yep....it aint changed much....they bounce off of the ropes...and you wait to see who is going to have the winning move....in the battle...and that is always mesmerising to me....body slams....head slams...jumping off the top rope...and lets bring it all down to the floor...with the gates and chairs.....yea.......entertaining for most of us?....or maybe a few?

Compare it to college wrestling....very little if the truth be told. Pro wrestling is a form of entertainment that requires the "actors" to have some form of athletic ability, but if you really disect some of the so called "matches" you will see that same suff in the vids the OP posted. Then you have the "Mega Event...Wrestlemania"....a pay per view event featuring the superstars duking it out..... I will say...I liked watching it back when I was a lot younger...but I knew back then it was all pretty much scripted.......

Ok...what we got....a black guy taking a pic with a white gal.....the shadows are so unerexposed he looks like a were wolf....it looks like he has a beard or go-tee...which adds to the "bad photo". And the white of his eyes and his teeth........that is what I see I M M H O.......

Basically...the flash fires a preflash to measure the distance of the subject and relay that info through the lens (TTL) to the camera taking lens info as well to produce a balanced natural (2nd main) flash. The problem is that the Pentax system has been reported by some to not be consistant when using Pentax p-TTL flash units...but others report this system to be fine. I have a Vivitar flash with this setup and I ended up using my manual flash options at a wedding....but that is the Viitar flash....other's have used Metz flashes with alleged better results. Sigma flashes also have had thier share of good and bad reviews...just get what you can afford and go from there....all automated flash units will work fine (IMHO) to some exent providing the flash unit is free from defects. You just gotta get one and use it and judge for yourself..... as far as posting on this forum....start with the equipment you have and ask questions about it. There are forums for all types of individual types of equipment. If you want a starting point....go with lenses first, then your DSLR body, then your flash. Check out all the forums and just ask questions and/or post your experience on things you find interesting.

Same problem on my laptop except it it doesn't reconize the DVD/CD drive at all.....so I had to by an external unit like graphics said.......

My first thread on this GT forum was about high end car stereo equioment and RML was one of the first(if not the first to respond) last year. I got the help I was looking for and my pickup truck is still rockin and rollin with old Rockford Fosgate punch amplifiers pushing Infinity subs and tweets.......so I am like you....I love the quality of the old stuff! I did the car audio thing in the 80's. BTW my dad has upgraded his equipment and has old Onkyo stuff in his garage trying to unload it onto me. Some parts aint workin...if interested let me know....I think the amplifier is still going strong.......
