I don't own D810. We (me and my wife) use D3s and D700. For a while I've used D600, but sold it (and got used D700) mainly because of it's high megapixel count and colours which my wife disliked a lot.
I have huge symphaty for Pentax and was planning to replace D700 as soon as Pentax FF comes out... However now I can see that K-1 is aimed primarily towards landscape and studio photographers, which aren't us.

With my photography high ISO performance is essential, so 36 megapixels doesn't cut it at any framerate. I would choose 16 Megapixel camera over 36 Megapixel any day, 36 Megapixels for me means just noisier images and headache when thinking about storage space.

I've switched to Nikon three years ago. Sold Pentax cameras, flashes, accessories. However I kept three FA limiters. Was waiting for Pentax FF.
But these specs are disappointing. 36 Megapixels and only 4.4 fps :( Way too much megapixels and way too slow.
My three FA limiteds will be listed in marketplace soon...

1. Price
2. High megapixel count - rumoured 42 megapixels are way too much for me, I'm fine with 12 Mpix Nikon D3s and disliking Nikon D600 for it's 24 Mpix, which give me virtually no advantege, but consume huge amount of storage space. 42 Mpix is total overkill...

I second you.
In past years I've used 16 megapixel (Pentax K-5), 12 megapixel (Nikon D700 and D3S) and 24 megapixel (Nikon D600) cameras and for my use (weddings and children photoshoots) optimal resolution is 16 megapixels. 12 megapixels are a little bit on the low side and 24 megapixels are way too much. I would not even look at camera with 42 megapixel sensor...

What do you mean? It's available since first Pentax DSLR with SR and movie mode. Can't remeber which model was that. K-7?

Well, I wouldn't trust this one...
No, it's short by 36mm x 24mm size sensor ;)

Citroen in Australia?! Wow. I've spent quite a lot of time in Victoria (~2,5 years) however I've never seen Citroen there :)

Most likely it's going to be like in Nikons:
Pres and hold AF Modes button and then turn one wheel for AF mode selection (Single / Continuous / whatewer) and another wheel for AF point selection (Auto / Center / Multipoint / etc).

Yes, I can confirm that SR can introduce motion blur at high shutter speeds while EXIF says that SR is stabilised. I've encountered this myself on K-7. I've exchanged the camera, another one was better, however still sometimes SR ruined pictures.
My solution was simple - I was keeping SR off and turning it on only when I really needed it.
By the way, you should change your testing methodology:- Autofocus on something in Live view - this will eliminate focus errors
- Turn AF off
- Take picture without SR as a reference
- Take several pictures with SR on.

Compare those samples to D600 (24Mpix FF sensor) and you will see that D600 is one f-stop better.

They are no more ignorant as Europeans are ;)
I've seen many times in the news Latvia was confused with Lithuania. Many many times Europeans were extremely surprised to find out that we are actually speaking not Russian. And I've heard many many times from our Eastern neighbours about Riga - beautiful capital of Lithuania :)

Someone reported this scam to Gumtree and they removed them.
I am 100% sure about that. Pictures taken from some legitimate adverts and posted on Gumtree.
Here's the response I've just received from "Margot" after inquiring about Nikon D3s and requesting for meeting in Perth:

No contact phone, only email. Nikon D3s power plug is British.
Contact "her" and "she" will come up with a story that she can't meet (not in Australia, very sick whatsoever), will suggest to pay buy UCash and tell Ucash codes (or similar scheme).
Typical scam.
