Hello again,
Right folks today I got My K-S1 replaced as the one I bought last Saturday was faulty......However while I was at the shop I picked up a .....
Tamron Tele-Macro lens, was taking some pictures with it, and happy with the results... As I was taking the lens off I noticed something where the lens joins the camera.
There is a line of numbers... A 32 22 16 11 8 5.6 4.... I'm assuming this controls the aperture.....so my question is if I'm using auto would that select the aperture size for me or would I still have to do it manually......

Good news,
Took it to the shop.....turns out the camera was faulty....so got a replacement....

Thanks everyone,
I spoke to the guy at the shop, he says it sounds like it is a faulty camera, told me to take it back for a replacement

Don't know if this helps....but I managed to take 1 pic through the view finder.....and it was all whited out..?

night time now but earlier was out in the garden in the day time ......camera would'nt focus

Hello everyone,
New to the forum and DSLR cameras...
I bought a K-S1 yesterday ...I took a couple of pics and they were fine.
Today I was gonna have a proper go with it ...But it won't take pics....well it will and it won't if...... I try taking a pic looking through the viewfinder it wont focus and take the pic.....but when I take one using the monitor on the back .....it does.....so as you can imagine I'm at a loss.
Can anyone help?
