I was thinking about all the talk about the look of film and thought I would see what I could come up with. I think it's more film like in full res. https://www.icloud.com/sharedalbum/#B0WGf693Zsx8YQh;02352032-2766-437B-8117-EF3301787EC1

The Groosebeak shots were taken through the scope with my K10d from about thirty yards out and then cropped and the deer was taken through the scope with an old 3mp nikon 995 at about the same distance. The the birds on the feeder where taken through the scope with a Sony. The globe shot was taken with my K10D, just something different. The flare is kinda cool, and I needed a tripod.

carol, Granted, I'm new to the whole digital photo thing, but the photos app on my mac will process RAW files and let you export in many other formats. Plus it has a basic set of editing tools as well.

Thanks Dave
I think you can check out the full size by clicking here: https://www.icloud.com/sharedalbum/#B0WGtnIORsY3kmk Let me know if it doesn't work.
I'm using the pentax PF-CA35 camera adapter. It's all manual from a camera perspective/use the scope to focus. focus confirmation light works, but I don't use it, really. the depth of field is very shallow. even on subjects that are far away. It makes for a slow speed tele, f12 or something like that. I have some more experiments to run. I'm going to try getting a 43mm pancake limited and try customizing it to fit over the original eye piece. that way I can shot the camera at f1.9 100 iso. instead of 800iso. we'll see. I don't have a split screen, but I'm looking into that also. Can't afford it all at one time. I do love the K10. the colors are fantastic! https://www.icloud.com/sharedalbum/#B0WG6XBubsxWvbQ and I'm having some fun. It takes a minute for the full versions to load.

Free Range Ponies. nice shot. Paul, your pup looks hot, it must love the lake when you go.
I've had my K10 now for about three months and I love the richness of the camera. My wife and I are birders, and I originally got it for attaching to my Pentex PF-80ED; it's great glass, but it is very slow and shallow DOF when attached to the scope. Not so good for fast moving birds. So, I've been mostly using camera with the kit lens and having a great time. Dave mentioned the weather so I thought I would post a shot of a Lake Erie thunderstorm/sunset that ended up with a lighting strike in the right corner(got lucky). The picture of the Wren is through the scope Cropped!

The other night I took a couple of thunder clouds. I was sitting a my desk, just happened to look out the window and the cloud had great color, great out line, and was gone before I got out there to shot. Damn!;). The shots were not worth posting.

This forum is great. I've been using the Depth of Field preview and manual focus for close up shots. I have a DA 18-55 kit lens and of course my K10D. I was wondering if I can use Depth of Field Preview with the older manual focus A lenses? Also, is there a different focus screen that would be brighter with manual focus lenses. i've done a little research on Katzeye, but they seem to be out of business; maybe there is a trick to Depth of field preview when using small stops like F22. In bright light all is well, but during the good light, it's hard to focus.
