Hi Adam, thank you for your help.
You meant a "SDHC" slot? So it means that I can buy and use safely a 32GB SDHC card (until 32GB?)?
:-)

Hi, I´ve been using only a 16GB SD card with my Ricoh GX200. Can I use bigger than 16GB (32/64GB?) cards with this camera without problems?
Or just 16GB cards?
I´m sorry if this isn´t the right forum for a older Ricoh camera... .-(
Thanks for any help.

Thank you all.
More information per channel. The same size and weight files. Cleaver solution.
More resolution both for colors and for (luminance) B&W conversion.
Yes, your image is very detailed; Eno ,-) May I ask you if it was done with the K-3 or K-1 and the lens used?

(With the Pentax k-1)
I´m sorry if this is a repetition, but I cannot find definitive answers to my doubts.

Part A:

1. A file using Pixel Shift mode is bigger in size (I mean the physical size in Height/Width) Or this size stays the same?
2. A file using Pixel Shift mode is bigger in weight (I mean file size in megapixels)? Four times bigger?
3. A file using Pixel Shift mode can be compared to a Medium Format file? If so how big would be a similar MF file? Any parallel with files from the Pentax 645D or Z?

I do not seek for absolute numbers but it would be nice to know more or less what can I expect from this capture mode.

Part B:
1. For Black and White conversion, will I gather the same amount of light for the three RGB channels? A bigger luminance value for each comparing to the regular Bayer capture?
2. Is there any possible comparison between this Pixel Shift mode and the Leica M Monochrom mode/files?
3. Is there a thread dedicated to B&W work with the Pixel Shift Mode, here in the forum or online (Flickr?)? I cannot find it.

Thank you very much for your support.

I know that the Pentax K1 is brand new and there are already some reviews online. Just a few, for now.
Would like to ask the forum for the best, most detailed reviews you´ve found about this very exciting camera.
Thank you very much.

P.s diglloyd - Blog is making a nice report (payed review) about the Pixel Shift Mode.

Thank you very much again for all your suggestions.
The MP-E "case" will work with a second hand Canon Body (6D/7D) for specific super-macro work.

What attracts me in the new K-1 system is the quality of so many features (useful features), the courage to do things differently and an excellent quality body for almost half of the price vs the high price of the Canon bodies with just small improvements concerning Dynamic Range, etc, on each generation.
The new 1DX Mark II is a good example. An excellent camera but again; not a leap from the Mark I version concerning DR or noise. Worth the upgrade?!

I guess the Pentax price will be lower in a couple of years as a second hand unit. But that´s normal.
I love the Canon menus, the glass, the ergonomics, the general quality, etc. But I´m a bit tired of banding and noise for the last 8-10 years. As I do love my small Ricoh GX200.
(I don´t like the Sony ergonomics and menus as an example, in spite of the excellent sensors)

I´m a designer; so the object is very important to me.

I confess that my camera should be the 645Z but I cannot afford one .-( plus glass.
So the K-1 would be a first step into the "dark side" ,-) Maybe one can use 645Z glass with both? I´ll do my search.

Looking forward for future Sigma ART solutions for the K mount.
Yes the Sigma 35mm f1.4 is superb.

What about Tilt & Shift solutions for the K mount?
Apart from the very good and expensive Schneider-Kreuznach offers.
Thanks.

You´re 100% right; Carl.
I used to use Canon back in the film days. Switched to Nikon and back to Canon in the digital age BUT the process was the lens first (the MP-E) and the body after .-)
If this lens where a Pentax, Nikon or other brand lens; that would be my brand of choice. Its a unique lens indeed. Very convenient and very specialized. Its my main tool to design part of my style.

Maybe I´ll keep a Canon body (even a used 6D body because its full frame) just for that lens and a core Pentax system for everything else.

This is a very nice forum with very kind and supportive participants .-)

The Canon 100mm L f2.8 IS USM is a 1:1 macro.
Good news if there are Pentax equivalence .-) for 1:1 macro factor.

The Canon EF 65 MP-E f2.8 Macro 1-5x magnification; means it´s a 5:1 macro.
Maybe only the Laowa (not quite at the same league)

I´m considering seriously a system switch based on the new Pentax K-1, but as far as I know it is not possible to adapt Canon EOS EF or Zeiss ZE (for EOS) glass to the Pentax K mount.
What could be the Pentax (or other quality brands like Sigma) equivalent to:

Fast primes:
Zeiss ZE 35mm f2.0 Distagon?
Canon EF 50mm f1.4 USM?
Zeiss ZE 85mm f1.4 Planar?

Macro:
Canon EF 100mm f2.8 Macro IS USM?
Canon EF 65 MP-E f2.8 Macro 1-5x magnification?
(don't think this last one is possible at least with just one lens solution from any brand).

What flash could be a substitute for the Canon 600EX-RT?

Thanks in advance for your help.
