I am a life-long Pentax user starting back when with Spotmatic F through the ranks to LX, PZ-1P, MZ-S, istD. I bought a K2000 to be my walk-around always at hand camera about 2 years ago. It has been out of use in favor of istD for a few months and I just pulled it out of storage and it won't turn on. Changed batteries, same result, no light, no signs of life. Can anyone tell me what I can try before sending it off for repair? gophigyer, new to this forum, Davenport IA USA.
