I've also shot many a wet, wet soccer game with the K-5 & DA* 200mm and never thought twice about it!

Holy jeezus, I didn't pay much attention to the hoopla around the 's' version until I stumbled through this thread. The pics that have dead on focus positively POP with details. Insane!

Just a quick heads up that there are still several spots available for any photographer looking for a studio event in the Vancouver, BC area. February Swimwear Workshop, Metro Vancouver Photography
All you need is a camera that supports a wireless hotshoe trigger and some creativity and you are ready to roll.
Cheers.

Thus the total hypocrisy of the Chinese protesting Japan's claim to ownership of the Senkaku Islands.
It's becoming more and more clear that this is nothing to do with sovereignty and more with muscle-flexing and taking control of natural resources.
The general public being played like the pawns they are by the ruling party...

Love that shot of the Rainbow Bridge in full glory; the one with the man at the shrine is also very captivating.
Interesting how the images feel so "big" compared to a similar scene shot with a regular Pentax DSLR (not the literally size of the image, but the picture itself).

Actually, when you are shooting with non-DSLR, screen-based smaller cameras, that 1/3 grid is handy for checking horizontal or vertical alignment for composing...

Agreed; 10.8 runs smooth as silk on my Macbook from last year.
Uploading to PF from the computer works fine as well; when you say "new file", are you still talking JPG file format and files that meet the quota size for uploads?

Pics of the lens added.
Please note that in pic #2, there is a very slight smudge on the center of the barrel (looks like a grey streak in the picture).

If it's anything like the Zuiko 45mm, it's going to produce some seriously nice results...
