Thank you all for your answers and suggestions :-) I got a great offer for the 16-85 and 55-300. So I will test this combination. Maybe I will add a prime lens later. It's great to see that so many helpful people are here. Thanks again :-)

Hi everyone,
I am looking for 1-2 new lenses for my K-3ii. I had an 18-135mm, but it's broken. Now I am looking 1 or 2 new lenses for travel and landscape photography.
I am thinking about Pentax HD DA 16-85mm f3.5-5.6 ED DC WR and Pentax DA 55-300mm f/4,5-6,3 ED PLM WR. The 16-85 for landscapes, and the 55-300 for wildlife and also landscape.
I've read many threads and thought about getting 1-2 limited primes, but I think the option with the two zoom lenses is more versatile.
What do you guys think?
Next destination will be Azores ;-)
I hike a lot and love to shoot photos in all weather conditions.
Thanks
Philipp

Hi everyone,
this was on of my first attempts in shooting the Milkyway. I used a Samyang 14mm f2.8. Lens was brand new and never used before. So I had to learn how to handle the lens ;)
Hope you like it. Maybe you can give me some tipps how to do better ;)
It was quiet hard to focus at night. I read that some people fix the focusring with tape. But I was shooting also in the day, so this was not a good option for me ;)

Since I am shooting with K-3II sometimes I have the same feeling. After a little edit in LR everything looks fine. Imho the jpegs from the K-30 showed somehow better results. Maybe someone can confirm? Just post some pics, we will help you:)

Hey guys, please put me off the list.
I have to travel a lot for my company in August/September and October and the chance that the lens will be returned to the sender is very high :( Sorry that I can't take part in...

Vancouver, Vancouver Island, Banff, Jasper, Calagary.
I thought the same about the 16-45. Maybe I will leave it here and instead pick my 70-300 Tammy ;) For some bears and birds :D

Hey everyone,
I am traveling to Canada in 2 weeks and at the moment I'm planning which camera gear I will take with me.
K-3ii, 18-135mm, 16-45mm ist already packed.
Now I am asking myself, if I need a ND or polarizing filter. What do you recommend?
Best regards,
Philipp
PS: If the sectionis wrong, feel free to switch ;)

Hi everyone,
what is the best way to get images from my K-3ii to a tablet? Samsung Galaxy Tab or Apple iPad Mini.
I am going to shoot some fashion pics and like to show the made pictures to my client :)
I thought about using a Flucard or maybe a wired solution.
So I need help what solutions are available at the moment :) Thanks so far

Hi everyone,
I have a more or less simple (maybe stupid) question.
Can I use any flash with my K-3 ii?
I don't get which models fit on the Pentax K-3 ii hotshoe.
Saw some stuff fitting on Canon and Nikon comaptible that fits on Pentax.
Is that a golden rule? That stuff fitting Canon/Nikon always fots on Pentax hotshoe?
Hope my question isn't to stupid. As an longterm Pentax-User I should know that, but I'm absolutely not sure.
Looking for one or two flash-models and a remote for my K-3ii.

I think it is a clever move, if Tamron will produce lenses for Pentax and brand it like pentax lenses. More sells for Tamron, a wider range of lenses for pentax. Win Win :) Of course the new lenses have to be WR :) But before the new roadmap isn't public, we just can speculate

Thanks for building such a great DSLR. I think all Pentaxians are proud of you. Not only because of K-1. K-3 and K-5 are also great gear! Keep on rolling!
