Thank you so much for your nice comment. These were two cowboys at a branding in New Mexico. The things hanging on the fence are cow testicles!

I'm from Oregon now living in New Mexico! I've been using a pentax k20 for three years and have been happy with the results. I don't know if a non technical person can handle the k5iis. I'm not really into alndscapes but rather street photography-quirky stuff. Also I work in a hospital and do a lot of low light stuff in patient's rooms. I have a pentax 50,35mm lenses, sigma 18-250. I'm also considering the Ricoh GR. Any advice?

I've owned a pentax k20 for three years and have loved every minute of it. Like any camera geek I always feel the pull of new equipment. But I'm not a tech person. What matters to me that the photo I take tells a story that can be understood by the viewer in a moment. If I can affect another person with imagination, color, pathos, joy, well that's enough for me. I can do that very well with my beloved K20. But my question is could I tell an even better story with a k5iis or a K-3? My friends say it's all about the person behind the lens, not the camera. Do you think I should enter the more modern halls of an advanced camera or stick with what I know? I'm not really into landscape anymore but love the quirkiness of street photography. Thanks so much. (Oh yes,I love the idea of the Ricoh Gr alongside my K20.
