Hi and thanks. I think I am lucky to live in an era where film and film development is available! Not sure if that will be the case in 20 years time. I read that people develop films themselves! That would be fun to try but I don't have space in my flat. However, I am guessing if you can't have film developed buying one is also tricky for you too? If you live in Canada, I am surprised by that.

Hello to all Pentaxists,
I was told by an automatic message that I should introduce myself, so as an obedient newbie to the form I thought that's what I will do.
My name is Lina and I live in Birmingham, UK, for the moment. I have been browsing the reviews and forum intensively for the past week because... well a funny thing happened. I was saving up for an upgrade camera (as a true financially-challenged student), and saving, and saving some more... And then decided to splash out the money on a new film camera instead of a digital! I was long over-due for an upgrade since my K200D was about 7 years old. But I just could not find a mirrorless camera that would match in ergonomics and built quality, but in a year's time I will add digital to my gear list. I also noticed that in the past 3 years I have been taking more snapshots with an old MG film camera rather than my dSLR. The reasons for this is that I always wanted to try out film, but took it slowly since I am not from the film era myself, and also portability and weight, which the K200D is not famous for. My purchase of MZ-S was very spontaneous and I obviously needed a new lens and that's how I got here.
I truly loved my K200D and had really nice moments with it. Good learning tool too!
So that's me and my story. Look out for silly questions and quirky sense of .
