I really hate to post this, as you can see I don't post. This just stuck in my head from a couple of weeks ago regarding the soul of the camera or whatever it was. Could likely be attributed to anything, but as a non-poster in this forum, I thought it was important enough to.

I have this lens. It took forever to find it. I had to have it sent from London from some remote camera shop. I have been offered $400 for it, which was a price I was willing to sell because I was in a bind financially. It was the last piece of equipment that I ever wanted to part with. Luckily I ran into some money and didn't have to.
The lens is spectacular. I am certainly biased with this thing.
I've never had a problem with mine.
If I had to guess I might say that I see one on eBay about 1x per year on average.
