Looking at selling my Pentax gear as I am finding that I rarely use it these days.
I have a K-50, Pentax 18-135, Pentax 50 Prime, Sigma 70-300, Pentax Flash, Filters, Camera Bags, etc.
Am I better off selling everything all together or separately?

Can anyone recommend a free program to convert 173 photos (DNG to JPEG)?
I have an old version of ACD SEE Pro 2 that won't let me do it.
I would even pay someone if they can do it for me.
Photos are of my niece for her Christmas card.

I took about 300 photos in RAW when I actually wanted JPEG.
Can I convert them on my K-50?

Does anyone know if there will be another firmware update or since the camera is fairly old now probably not?

Service was excellent.
Turnaround time was less than 2 weeks from the time I shipped it to the time I arrived back.

Thank you very much for the detailed breakdown.
It turned out to be the batteries.
They turned on the unit but were not fully charged enough to activate the flash.

Still did not work.
Might have to just head over to BH or a local camera store in NJ to get some assistance.

I am sure it is not broken as it seems to be working fine with the exception of the flash not going off.

where does "sync" need to be selected as i see i can move it to different options.

Adam was right, it was the batteries. Even though the flash powered on, I guess it did not have enough juice to activate the flash. Thanks everyone for assistance.

This is a little too technical for my background.
I just want to be able to use the flash on automatic mode when I press the button.

It is on P-TTL.
Does it matter what I select for the "Sync".
When I press the "Ready / Test" button it does not fire.

What settings do I need to be able to use this flash to go off automatically whenever I take a photo?
I can't seem to figure it out.
Not that technically advanced with this stuff.
This flash is on the K-50.
