Thanks for the input, this was the best I could get the colors to look in the sky with my PP skills, although I may have gone a little warm with the white balance. I am not sure if I blew out the sky at the top of the frame. It may have been a hazy day but from what I remember it looked clear so I am not sure about the smokey look. Thanks for the info about the sizing of the photos.

Mostly due to limited wall space
CreationBear, thanks for the PP advice, I will take another look at all three in Lightroom and try to apply some of what you had mentioned

Here are 3 landscape shots I have taken recently and I cant decide which one I would like to print on Canvas. Does anyone have any critiques on any of the photos? How could they be better in terms of framing or post processing. Thanks for the input.

Interesting shot, I like the concept. The only critique I have is that the light in the top left corner of the frame seems harsh and draws my eye away from the face. Other than that I like the shot!

Thanks for the input, I am afraid to crop any of the images too much because I am printing 16x16, do you think that would affect the print if I cropped the first image?
I printed the second image on 4x6 from bay photo so I could get the sample pack of all 5 finishes, I think it turned out pretty well, although a bit darker than it looks on the screen.

Great photo! I like the pose and the mood, the only thing I would say is that for me, the light on the shoulder is much brighter than her face and my eyes keep being drawn to the shoulder. Take that with a grain of salt as I do not have a ton of portrait experience.

I have taken and post processed these 3 photos of a humming bird. I am planning on getting 16x16 metallic prints of the 3 images. IMGP3120 by Marc Spencer, on Flickr IMGP3119 by Marc Spencer, on Flickr IMGP3118 by Marc Spencer, on Flickr
Any advice on the photos or the processing? Do you think they will look good printed on metal if you have printed on metal before? Thanks for the advice and let me know if you would like to see the RAW files.

Thank you for all of the responses. I am new to photography and will probably take many more imperfect images, but I feel I learn something new each time. My photography usually coincides with my climbing/hiking/outdoor adventuring, so I don't always have the luxury of waiting around for the perfect conditions. I like the idea of having some focal point in the image and will keep that in mind for next time.

Thanks for the tips, I'm not sure where the dust came from as this is the only image i can see it on. I applied a graduated filter in LR to the sky here but I see how it would look better if some was cropped out.

Just picked up a DA*55 off the market place here and took it out to do some night shooting, has anyone else noticed a lot of flaring in this lens? Maybe its normal for shooting at night? anyway, here's a sample of my first portrait with the lens, a stuffed panda from the zoo.

Right now this lens is $435 on B&H I am trying to decide whether to buy this or the DA* 55 1.4, is the $435 a good price for this lens?
