I am looking into a good telephoto lens, the two that have caught my eye are within the same price range. Recommendations Sigma 50-500 f4-6.3 EX APO or
Pentax DA*300 F4 ED. Reach or quality????

Hi, I am new to this forum

I am using a K10D, and am looking in to buying a TC, I would appreciate some guidance and incite. I have searched high and low for what qualities I should be looking for in a TC. It seems to me that there is a very narrow selection of TC's made for Pentax with AF and the ones currently available are either non compatible with most lenses and or a lower quality to which used to be available. For the most part the TC's that seem to be better quality which I've found were the SMC Pentax-F 1.7x AF Adapter (which is pricey)and the Tamron 1.4X PZ AF MC4 (is non-existent). These two models are hard to find. I am not sure about any of the 2X models available, from what I've read the higher the magnification the poorer image quality. so that has strayed me from looking any further into those particular models. I would appreciate a little feedback to point me in the right direction (brand, magnification, quality, etc.)
