Hi Folks,
I have been looking for an entry level DSLR camera. I saw an ad that Nikon is selling refurbished D3200 cameras for $259.00. It comes with a 18-55 lens. The question is this: Why has Nikon refurbished so many of these cameras? Was there something wrong with them? Did Nikon successfully correct the camera problem?

Hi Terry, it is good to meet you. I just purchased a replacement Pentax K1000 from Ebay today for $23.50. It comes with 3 lenses, a flash, and carrying kit. Not sure how much I will invest in the film cameras. Starting to do research on digital cameras now. I do not want an extravagant digital camera. I would like to have one that is good for beginners, takes changeable lenses, and will hold it's value. Do you have any recommendations? Thank you,

Hello everyone, I am happy to find this forum. Want to get back into photograph. First started when I was in the Army. I bought a Pentax K-1000 from the PX in Bremerhaven Germany for $175.00. That was in 1988. Purchased a vivitar flash and small inexpensive zoom lens for it later on. Took a lot of pictures of windmills and the German countryside. My wife and I were impressed by the Pentax K1000. Regretfully, I lost all my photography equipment a few years ago. Hope to get another K1000 with a couple of lenses. Also want to move up into a digital camera that can use other lenses. I am an amateur family type photographer and really enjoy it.
