It takes a little wiggling to get it mounted, but the ability to focus and zoom at the same time is awesome. It definitely gives a vintage look to your shots.

I definitely reccommend the Scott Kelby books, they have lots of good stuff for beginners, as well as more advanced shooters to keep in mind. Also pretty photos with exif data.

I live in the Pas, Manitoba (which is about 6 hours north of Winnipeg), although I'm an American citizen born in Grand Forks, ND.
I'm 16 years old, I've been taking pictures for about 5 years and gone from kid playing with a point and shoot to a fairly serious photography student.
I shoot a lot of portraits, landscapes, and abstracts...I tend to go through phases though, focusing on different types of shots. I travel a lot, so I get the opportunity to change my subjects now and then.
