Thanks for viewing. In fact to find time once the vessel is not rolling, plankton glow visible and our solar system planets so close + Pentax K-5 on board :-) is a miracle. In fact I was trying to make similar photos with my GX20 - but comparing to K-5, which dynamic range is outstanding, GX20 results were miserable.

Photo taken during night passage via Gulf of Aden - well known Piracy zone so razor wire is visible on the sides of the vessel. Any way Armed security O/B that time.
There is clearly visible plankton glow from bow wake.
Please note Jupiter and Venus at one of the closest approaches every few hundred years.
59 seconds exposure so based vessel movements and vibrations pretty clear shot.

Hi.
Just would like to say just checked with PhotoMe - My K-5 shutter count on my body > 128.000 (photo from May) and all still alive.
I used to make few interval shootings like 12.000 every 1 sec during Panama Canal passage to create fast speed movie (by the way fantastic effect). The only I may say the shutter is just more noisy and with metallic sound then new one. I hope to make few thousand shots more :-)
