I have shot Pentax since the mid 80's. My last camera was the K-3 with a huge variety of DA* lenses. I sold all that equipment to get a Sony A6300 and all Zeiss glass. I was looking for a lighter camera. After about a year I am regretting my decision. I have found that Sony succeeded in making my gear lighter and that is about all. Overall I find the image quality nowhere near what I got from the Pentax. Lowlight performance is not as good as the Pentax and anything over F11 is almost usable. I am about the dump the Sony gear and get back into Pentax.
Anyone else try a different brand only to find themselves going back to a Pentax?

I am specifically looking for a DA 15mm (green band).
I would like a Pentax-F 35-70 /f3.5.
I could also use a used K-3.
But, since I have LBA I would consider other lenses!

One picture has made me research a few lenses. But, I bought all three after researching. The three were FA 31mm, Helios 44-2 and Auto Takumar 35mm f/2.3.
I used the 31 until I got my 20-40 and the 31 has not been used since. I may take a few photos a year with the other two.

I had a 44-2, which produced decent swirly bokeh, but I sold it. I picked up a 44k-4 and it does not produce as much swirly bokeh as the 44-2.
I wanted some extreme swirls so I picked up another 44-2 and modified it as the post above mentions. I get results similar to his shots as well.
Just an opinion, I'd go with a 44-2 if it is swirls you want.
