Look what Santa gave me ❤️
Putting this Hoya filter was just a horrible experience :/ I knew that because of the permanently attached lens hood, requiring a filter made out of a thin ring, but man, this was hard. Putting it in place second time was much easier though. Filter haters - forgive me :)
Anyone else using filters on this beauty?

The Tamron is lighter, I don't know if 250g will be deal breaker for anyone but it's also not weather-resistant as far as I remember. Anyway, I've seen only positive reviews about this lens.

Full frame will always have its advantages, always. like bigger telescopes can see stars more detailed.

Pentax isn't well known here where I live, unfortunately. Well, obviously in the world, but especially here. So, what can I do to get more people involved? Everybody is losing their minds on mirrorless and Sony is the name of their god of photography :)

Good point! But the suggestion to try it should not be like stop using that *** and shoot Pentax, of course. Must be some delicate way to get them interested.

I don't know what's hidden really, but I have set this forum as my home page :)
What I can say is that unlike other social platforms, where you can post your work or question, my activity here makes me feel like I'm part of something special! Maybe hidden gem would be that you learn something every day even if your visit wasn't specifically aimed for this reason.

I have 16-85, it's great indeed, I love this lens really, but can't say anything special about it. I didn't have medium format in my mind to be honest, but let's count it anyway. Yeah I know, can be multiple lenses, but where is that one I'd say where I was?

You reminded me the photograph I've seen long time ago but unfortunately can't find it anymore despite my endless efforts :/ It was made either by Auto-Takumar or Jupiter lens. It was like someone painted it, just amazing 3d pop of the flower. Something similar to this one but 100 times nicer:

Unfortunately, we have very high rates here, 300 for 3 years is good but mostly I see cases when both body and lens is involved :/ Hope that OP will manage to fix it.

I made a huge mistake and bought vanguard one, terrible tripod, I think it's a VEO something.... don't even remember. This thing broke apart in one year.
