Thanks a lot again, Mike.
Since my Tair 11A is not flushing with the camera body (it gets tighter beforehand), lens thread seems to be the issue. Is there anyway to fix that? Alternately, which cheap adapter should I buy? ---------- Post added 12-16-17 at 06:36 AM ----------
Have you had chance to check how to reduce the spacer in Tair 11A? Would be grateful for advice.

Thank you for a quick reply.
I bought an used lens and so have no way to find out whether it was modified before.
Could you please share with me the Youtube Video as I am unable to locate that.
Strangely enough, it works well with Sony Mirrorless APSC - so flange distance does not seem to be the issue.
Any idea whether converting to K mount is possible and whether it is likely to sort out the infinity focus issue?

The Tair 11-A lens (black version) I bought recently gives good results in terms of focusing sharpness up to 6 meters. It gets blurred beyond that, accompanied by lack of focus confirmation by K-1. I am using the Pentax original adapter for M42.
Rather strangely it works well in Sony Mirrorless that a friend of mine has.
Grateful for any advice on how I can make the lens focus to infinity since I like the lens in terms of both sharpness and contrast.

I just got my K-1 and am busy testing of performance of various lenses - without bothering too much an aesthetics. It is clearly an outstanding camera when used with DFAs 24-70 and 150-450 and most of manual lenses. So I am quite happy. This happiness is not unconstrained, however. DA15, not unexpectedly, vignettes heavily as you can see in the picture.
If one post processes its size can be significantly larger than the camera-decided APSC. When compared to a photo taken with 20 mm lens (-M, f4), DA15's coverage can be estimated at about 18-19mm.
When the hood is not taken out and with manual cropping at post-processing stage, the square photo can be almost 98% of the FF size. With hoods pulled out this size goes down significantly- but still significantly larger than camera-determined APSC.
The question to me now is to keep or not to keep ... Any advice is welcome.

DA 15mm would vignette in fullframe. My wish is: if only DA15 mm and Tamron 17-50 f2.8 work in the forthcomimng Pentax Fullframe in 1.2 crop mode. That would give me time to look for real fullframe options.
