Areospace 303 Protectant is what I have been using, and it is excellent... It leaves absolutely no oily residue and also protects from harmful UV exposure. I use it to clean any rubber on lenses and bodies...
The rubber on my 300mm F4L IS lens hood started to get slightly sticky, a sign it was breaking down. I applied the 303 to clean it, and it's been as good as new ever since, and no longer has that sticky feel. I shoot outdoors 98% of the time, so the UV protection is a real plus..
To apply it, I use a good lint free cloth and spray it on the cloth first and then wipe whatever I am cleaning, don't oversaturate the cloth, you don't need too!! Just dampen the cloth and wipe away!

You're getting this problem because regular forum members can't have linked images in their signatures. This is why you have to use the sigpic functionality, which is self-explanatory and found in your User CP. Multiple tags will have to be stitched together into one image, which is not to exceed 500x100 pixels.

When you start looking at fast primes smaller than 50mm, the prices go up as the lens size gets smaller. 35mm & 28mm f/2.8 are still affordable, but smaller than 28mm and faster than f/2.8...watch out. A lot of the A zooms are good and fairly inexpensive, though.

I switched recently from the Canon 5d Mk III. I primarily shot landscape and used the 35 f1.4 and the 24 tse MK II. I bought a bunch of used lenses for the 645z as well as the 55mm and the 28-45. Thus far the 45-85 has been the surprise as I bought it used. It was $400 and it is a stunner (not wide open of course.) The 55 has been in the shop since about a month after I bought it. Still no word of an update on the repair... The 28-45 is huge. It is is also my goto lens these days. The SR is so good and so helpful.
