so I have to remove the matte baffle or ricoh ping ? or both? (I have not understood what the matte baffle is)

(sorry for my english)
Yesterday i bought Mirage lens 28MM f2.8 (k mount).
When i try to hook at my pentax k-50, It does not engage well. It snaps in half and then not go forward, it blocks.
