Thanks to you and the other moderators for keeping this forum the friendly place that it is. I check in several times a week ...even at work because of the great comments, analysis, and assistance that freely given. I continue to learn a lot from the members and even appreciate the sense of humor displayed by many of the regular posters.
I hope that 2019 is good to you and all of the forum members!

I'm not sure asking for help with LBA in this forum is the right audience??? :-) :-)
All of the excellent equipment suggestions, reviews and advice from the members of this forum are like crack cocaine to a new addict :-)
When I joined the forum a couple of years ago I had 3 film bodies, 2 digital bodies and 5 lenses. Now I have 8 bodies and 23 lenses.
So like "longbow" said ...If you find a way to stop ....(please) let me know....

There are lot of great people giving great help and great support on this forum ....but as Aslyfox says ...they "are" experts at helping you spend your money ...even if they don't mean to : - )

I would agree with the above about the DA*300. I have both but find that I use the 300 far more often than the 200. Another thought ...just to muddy the water is to consider the DA*60-250. I take it when space to move around might be limited?

absolute ...feel free ...much the same ..knew we were having totality but was busy at work.
ran home and grabbed the camera ....went out on the back deck and just starting shooting at various shutter speeds to try and catch something

Agree with Alex645 that for some of us "its the squirrel in our DNA". My GAS used to be confined to golf equipment ...having multiple versions of the latest drivers, irons, putters, etc. Then!....I decided to sell off much of the excess golf inventory and rekindle a long dormant desire to get back into photography ...only having 3 film bodies, 5 lens, and a flash from the late 70's / early 80's. After purchasing a KX DSLR and kit lenses ....AND joining this forum....I have added 5 more newer DSLR bodies, 15 lenses, and 2 flashes in the last 2 years. All of the excellent help, suggestions, reviews and advice from the members of this forum are like crack cocaine to a new addict :-) . Thank you all SO MUCH:lol:

decided at the last minute to snap some pics ....
first one at beginning of totality 2nd one a bit out of focus but the reflected light made Venus (to the left) appear very BLUE ...3rd one just as totality was ending and sun was roaring back
just simple jpgs ...sure there will be many better but thought I'd share ...was really cool to be so dark in the middle of the day!
